It is an honor and privilege to serve the good people of Farmington, Ms. as your Mayor and I look forward to the next four years of serving this community. I am a life-long resident of Alcorn County growing up in the Rockhill community before moving to Farmington in 2020. I went to school in Farmington when the school was grade one through 6, then moved over to Alcorn Central and graduated with the Class of 1980. I remember going to old Cotton gin here in Farmington with my grandfather (Mansel Fields), walking across the street from Farmington to the old store there. My first gun (410) came from the gun shop in the basement of that store. The landscape has changed, people have moved in and out, many of those I remember have passed on, but the one thing that still holds true is, Farmington is a wonderful community full of loving and caring citizens. Our focus for the next four years will be to improve our City Park, build upon our town, and continue to grow.
